A CONTRACT SOLUTION?
Having been working with our client for a number of months discussing the possibility of bringing in a New Permanent Senior Building Engineer for a New Build School…… our client then subsequently decided that a Contract Senior Engineering solution would be best for the immediate and hopefully longer term too….
WHAT WE DID
We got as much project detail from our client as possible
It became clear that the agency worker would be ideally looked at as a permanent employee…..
A longer term hire and so it was important that the successful candidate would be interested in taking the role on longer term if that option were to become available as hoped….. pipeline dependant
WHAT WE THEN DID
We then went about sourcing the correct candidate to the role agreed!
Through our TOP SECRET! and time intensive sourcing methods…. We created an initial likely suitable shortlist..
Eventually submitting ONE candidate for the role, just one
In candidate led markets such as this, and with a specific specific requirement sometimes there is only one candidate to be submitted, that is if you are truly only submitting candidates you feel can get the job….
From the point of which the candidate was submitted we resolved all the way through to the employee beginning within 2 weeks of that first interview
This included a notice period!
Sourcing a Senior Project Building Engineer within a week of an agreed spec being made between ourselves and our client,
Then sourcing the correct candidate that although is a contractor, would consider turning the opportunity into a permanent position should things move positively as all hope
Result – Happy employee, happy employer
We also helped to set the candidate up with Private Insurance suitable for their opening, also too managing all further HMRC legal requirement
